Logistics Team Volunteer

Purpose:

Support the Disaster Cycle Services team by helping manage vehicles, supplies, and facilities to ensure smooth disaster response and recovery operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with vehicle tracking and maintain fleet records
  • Ensure routine maintenance and service records are up to date
  • Order and organize supplies and equipment
  • Conduct facility inspections and support warehouse operations
  • Help with local procurement and storing supplies
  • Participate in team meetings and complete assigned tasks
  • Follow Red Cross standards, procedures, and reporting tools
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Valid driver’s license (required)
  • Willingness to follow Red Cross COVID-19 safety policies
  • Good organizational skills; reliable and punctual
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable attending and contributing to meetings
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling
  • Willing to learn resource planning and logistics tools

  • Development Opportunity:
  • Eligible for promotion to Logistics Team Leader
  • May participate in Logistics Operational State opportunities
