Are you passionate about connecting people with meaningful opportunities to serve? We’re looking for a dedicated Volunteer Recruiter to help grow our volunteer network and support our mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering, mobilize the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

This is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in recruitment, nonprofit work, or community engagement while making a real impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Promote volunteer opportunities through community outreach, social media, and events.
  • Build relationships with local organizations, schools, and businesses to attract new volunteers.
  • Screen and match volunteers to roles that fit their interests and skills.
  • Help organize and attend recruitment events and presentations.
  • Maintain accurate volunteer records and track recruitment efforts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm for volunteerism and community service.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Experience in recruitment, outreach, or volunteer coordination is a plus-but not required.
  • Comfortable using email, social media, and basic office tools.

Are you an experienced seamstress who is looking for an opportunity to make a huggable keepsake for family members who have lost a loved one? Memory bears are constructed from clothing that the family provides which has meaning to them or their loved one who was on service. We provide the pattern and you provide the talent and time- you can be creative!

Are you crafty and want to make people comfortable? All projects can be done from the comfort of your home. We will reimburse you for expenses and pick up the project when complete. These can include fidget aprons/blankets, blankets, adult clothing protectors, and neck pillows, etc. Some of the projects help our dementia/Alzheimer's/aggiated patients.
