Memory Bear Seamstress

Are you an experienced seamstress who is looking for an opportunity to make a huggable keepsake for family members who have lost a loved one? Memory bears are constructed from clothing that the family provides which has meaning to them or their loved one who was on service. We provide the pattern and you provide the talent and time- you can be creative! This is done in your home- we will drop off an dpick up the material/bear. We do provide reimbursement for cost incurred- if you keep your receipts. The bears serve as lasting comfort to those who have lost their loved ones.

This is an opportunity for someone in our service areas which are: Armstrong, Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Lawernce, Washington and Westmoreland.

Sewers/Knitters

Are you crafty and want to make people comfortable? All projects can be done from the comfort of your home. We will reimburse you for expenses and pick up the project when complete. These can include fidget aprons/blankets, blankets, adult clothing protectors, and neck pillows, etc. Some of the projects help our dementia/Alzheimer's/aggiated patients.
