Meal Kit Packing

The Shelter Service Associate is a temporary position assigned to work in person in a Red Cross shelter before, during and/or after a disaster event this hurricane/wildfire season. Shelter Service Associates complete tasks necessary for shelter operations and provide assistance for disaster clients.

Disaster Action Team (DAT) Specialist – American Red Cross Purpose: Support families affected by local emergencies—mostly home fires—by providing immediate care, comfort, and resources to help them begin recovery. Key Responsibilities: * Respond to local disasters as part of a team.

Family Service Corps Family Service offers members half-time (900 hour) terms that last one year; generally beginning in August. Members fill a variety of roles when placed at non-profit, human service agencies within the community. Family Service Corps focuses on food insecurity and providing service to veterans in need.
