What to expect on your build day
On your build day, you will be greeted on site by our Construction Team members. Be sure to greet them when you arrive on site so they can get you checked-in!
When volunteering, the work being done may consist primarily of painting, cleaning, tile work, trim work, door hanging, light landscaping, and more.

Registration
You must register for this event in order to participate. Please email our Volunteer Engagement Specialist, Kyle McCullough, at kmccullough@pittsburghhabitat.org if you have any trouble with registering for this event. Registration is first come, first serve. If you do not see any open spaces, that means they have all been filled.
Attire, Arrival, Lunch & Parking
Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Habitat Pittsburgh supplies safety glasses, gloves, and all tools. However, if you wish to bring your own materials you are more than welcome to!
Please arrive on site at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the build day so we can begin promptly at 9:00am! Water and snacks will be provided. Bring a packed lunch and water bottle with you.
Our build site is located at 550 Lincoln Ave, East Liberty, PA 15206. Street parking will be available near our development.
*Please note that you are not required to have any prior construction experience/knowledge to volunteer on a Habitat Pittsburgh build site. All are welcome to participate in furthering our mission!
