The Amedisys Hospice Volunteer Program exists to enhance the quality of life of hospice patients and their families by providing companionship and socialization to patients. Some examples of activities needed include visiting, listening, playing cards, listening to music, reading a book or poetry, watching a favorite movie or TV program, or even something as simple as making a cup of tea.
Coverage area includes the Greater Pittsburgh Area.
Amedisys Hospice travels to wherever our patients call home. Whether it be in a skilled nursing facility, a personal care home, an assisted living facility, or even their own private home, The Amedisys Hospice team will service patients regardless of their location.
