Aging Institute Seminar Series - Dr. Nathan Stitziel

We’re excited to announce that the next Aging Institute Seminar will take place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, featuring Nathan O. Stitziel, MD, PhD — Professor of Medicine and Genetics, Associate Director of Medical Scientist Training Program, Director of Center for Cardiovascular Genetics, and Director of Translational Cardiovascular Genetics. This will be a hybrid seminar, and Dr. Stitziel will be joining us in person at the Aging Institute (100 Technology Drive, 5th Floor Conference Room). He’ll be presenting “Leveraging (mis)fortunes of the human genome to advance novel cardiovascular therapeutics" and we look forward to hearing about his fascinating research. The Stitziel Lab studies human genetic variation underlying Mendelian and complex forms of cardiovascular disease. They utilize a range of cutting edge next-generation genomic techniques to map causal disease genes, dissect mechanisms and pathways underlying disease, and apply insights from our studies to improve clinical care and human health.
