Metals & Jewelry Studio
TBD
All Levels | TBD Materials and Studio Fees* Learn to make the most of wood's palette of colors and textures using tools and techniques appropriate for use in almost any kind of workspace. Topics will include the basic processes of shaping and finishing, creating surface embellishments, and adding findings; time and interest permitting, we’ll also go over more advanced forms and techniques such as stonesetting and pique. Participants will make several samples and finish at least one wearable piece such as a pendant, brooch, or pair of earrings. We’ll explore our surroundings in search of inspiration and materials, and look at the work of other jewelers whose work features wood. *Materials and studio fees are charged to students based on studio usage and materials Touchstone is providing at the request of the instructor. Additionally, some instructors may also require that you bring certain materials and tools with you, in which case a list will be provided. Final cost of these fees will be posted at least two weeks ahead of the workshop to be paid in full prior to check-in. Schedule From: Jun 15 2026 to Jun 19 2026 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm
