NP - Latodami Young Naturalist Summer Camp

Awaken your child's natural sense of wild wonder and join Latodami Nature Center for a session of Young Naturalist Summer Camp! For over 50 years, Latodami Nature Center has been conducting this day camp to get kids outside and connected to the natural world. Each day has been set aside for a special study of field, forest, and aquatic eco systems. Outdoor explorations will be combined with special activities to help the children learn more about the plant and animal life frequently found in our area. Day One: Meadow Day Day Two: Forest day Day Three: Water Day Programs are rain or shine. Children hike approximately 2 miles per day and should be dressed for outdoor activities in a variety of weather conditions. Your child should bring a backpack with: * Plenty of Water - there is no running at the Latodami Nature Center. We recommend children bring at least 40 ounces of water with them * Rain gear * Sunscreen * Bug Spray * Hat * Whistle * Medical supplies as needed * Lunch - lunches cannot be refrigerated and must fit in backpacks to be eaten on the trail We have 4 sessions to choose from!
