Volunteers are needed to help tutor at the Community Intensive Supervision Program (CISP) in both their Penn Hills and Wilkinsburg location. You will have the opportunity to work with youth who have been impacted by the justice system, helping them with their homework assignments and encouraging their academic progress.
We are looking for tutors to assist with GED prep, Language Learning (a combination of ESOL and literacy), and peer literacy tutoring. Tutors willing to commute is essential, as the facilities are a distance from the city of Pittsburgh. SCI Greene classes are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 10:30 or 1:00pm - 3:30.
