The Shelter Service Associate is a temporary position assigned to work in person in a Red Cross shelter before, during and/or after a disaster event this hurricane/wildfire season. Shelter Service Associates complete tasks necessary for shelter operations and provide assistance for disaster clients.

Disaster Action Team (DAT) Specialist – American Red Cross Purpose: Support families affected by local emergencies—mostly home fires—by providing immediate care, comfort, and resources to help them begin recovery. Key Responsibilities: * Respond to local disasters as part of a team.

Purpose: This position supports the Regional Biomedical Services department. This opportunity requires participation inin-person activities and/or performing work in a Red Cross facility. To safely transport and deliver blood or bloodproducts to hospital customers.
