Interim Hospice is looking for volunteers and their certified pet therapy animals to visit patients. We recognize the unique ability that animals hold in assisting with loved ones when expressing feelings as well as raising happiness levels. It would be our honor to work alongside of you to provide this service to those at the end of life.
Interim Hospice is looking for volunteers and their certified pet therapy animals to visit patients. We recognize the unique ability that animals hold in assisting with loved ones when expressing feelings as well as raising happiness levels. It would be our honor to work alongside of you to provide this service to those at the end of life.
As a companion volunteer you can provide an array of services to our patients and families at the end of life. This can include cleaning, assisting in patient care, or sitting with our patient's while providing caregivers a chance to get out of the house or to rest.
