Volunteer opportunities Volunteers work in The Factory helping visitors of all ages make art inspired by Andy Warhol, assist in the museum’s world-famous archives, or provide office and curatorial support. Volunteer opportunities also exist in the registrars and rights/reproduction offices.
Adult Volunteers No science expertise necessary—just a sense of fun and a willingness to learn! All positions focus on creating an extraordinary visitor experience. Our volunteer team includes diverse people of all ages, abilities, educational levels, and employment backgrounds.
Volunteers play a major part at Powdermill Nature Reserve, the museum’s environmental research center in the Laurel Highlands. Volunteers help with mailings, data management, summer children’s programs, trail grooming, and cleanup days. Volunteers also assist in a variety of ways at our bird banding station.
