Northside Food Pantry

Partner Agency Resource Table

Our food distribution runs from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., with participants often beginning to line up as early as 7:30 a.m. Most engagement with partner agencies happens between 8:30/9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., when the line is longest and most active. We welcome community partners who would like to share resources, information, or services with our pantry participants while they wait. You’re invited to come at whatever time works best for your schedule. Partners can choose the engagement style that fits their work:

Set up a table to offer materials or speak with participants. We can provide a table if needed.

Walk the line, moving directly through the queue to share information one-on-one. During warmer months, outside engagement offers the best interaction, but as the weather gets colder, we also have indoor space available for your partner table and conversations while participants are shopping (this option only allows for engagement between 9:30-12). Our goal is to make the pantry experience not only a place to access food, but also a hub for knowledge, support, and empowerment. If your organization offers services that could benefit our participants, we would love to have you join us. Please use this page to sign up for a date and time that works for you. We request that you only sign up for 1 pantry distribution a month to ensure our participants get to know a variety of resources.

Pumpkin Unloading at the Sewickley UMC Pumpkin Patch

If you have been to Sewickley in the fall, you know that one of the highlights of the season is the Sewickley UMC Pumpkin Patch. It is a beautiful display of autumn pumpkins, cornstalks and haybales. We need volunteers to help us unload the pumpkins from the truck and display them around our church lawn.
