Hospice Volunteer- Affinity Hospice

Affinity Hospice is seeking compassionate, caring, and dedicated volunteers who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families during a challenging time. Hospice volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, and a comforting presence to individuals receiving end-of-life care.

Volunteer responsibilities may include spending time with patients, engaging in conversation, reading, listening to music, offering respite for family caregivers, and providing companionship through simple acts of kindness. Volunteers may also assist with special projects, administrative tasks, or other activities that support patients, families, and the hospice care team.

No medical experience is necessary. The most important qualities are compassion, patience, empathy, and a willingness to listen and be present. Training and guidance are provided to help volunteers feel comfortable and prepared for their role.

Volunteering with Affinity Hospice is an opportunity to bring comfort, dignity, and peace to patients and their loved ones while making a lasting impact through the gift of your time and kindness.
