Volunteer at Building Bridges Day – Help Build a More Connected Community!

Join us for Building Bridges Day , a free, family-friendly community event that brings thousands of people together through art, music, culture, wellness, and meaningful connection on Pittsburgh's iconic Roberto Clemente Bridge.

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and dependable volunteers to help make this inspiring event a success.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Volunteers may assist with:

  • Event setup and breakdown
  • Greeting and welcoming attendees
  • Registration and information table
  • Assisting artists, performers, and vendors
  • Supporting children's activities and art stations
  • Helping with wellness and activity areas
  • Directing guests and answering questions
  • Photography and social media support (optional)
  • General event support wherever needed

Qualifications

  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Reliable and willing to work as part of a team
  • Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Able to stand and walk for portions of the shift
  • No previous volunteer experience is required
  • Volunteers ages 14+ are welcome (younger volunteers may participate with a parent or guardian)
