The International Council for Education Research and Training (ICERT) is seeking a visionary, highly collaborative leader to serve as the Executive Director of our Communications & External Affairs Division. This is a one-year, fully virtual volunteer leadership position (with the potential for extension).
Operating much like a pro-bono Public Relations (PR) & Outreach Officer, you will be the external face and voice of ICERT. You will spearhead our external communications, build partnerships with global academic institutions and grant-making organizations, and coordinate our speaker and host networks.
This is an exceptional portfolio-building and networking opportunity for senior academic faculty, corporate/PR professionals, retired executives, or highly motivated post-graduate students (minimum Master's degree) who want to champion global educational research.
Key Responsibilities:

* **External Relations & PR:** Act as the primary Public Relations Officer for ICERT, presenting our mission, programs, and initiatives to external stakeholders.- Speaker & Partner Coordination: Reach out to, secure, and coordinate higher education faculty, industry experts, and regional coordinators for ICERT's monthly conferences, seminars, and "Edutalks."
- Partnership & Grants Outreach: Identify and initiate contact with potential grant-making organizations, research institutions, and academic partners.
- Marketing & Social Media Strategy: Oversee ICERT’s digital presence, guiding the marketing strategy and social media outreach to grow our global audience of educators.
Who We Are Looking For:

* **Educational Background:** Minimum of a **Master's Degree** (current Ph.D./Ed.D. students, higher education faculty, corporate leaders, or retired academic/PR executives are highly encouraged to apply).- Location: Must be residing in the United States, Canada, or Europe.
- Skills: Strong background in public relations, marketing, communications, or academic administration. Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
- Commitment: Fully remote, volunteer position requiring approximately 3-5 hours per week for a 1-year term.
