Would you like to make an impact in someone's life? Commonwealth Hospice is currently looking for compassionate people to help make a difference in our patient's lives. Being a volunteer in hospice is very satisfying and rewarding!
Companion volunteers can provide a plethora of activities to our patients, such as:
- General companionship (sitting and having a conversation)
- A weekly phone call to a patient
- Playing card/board games
- Reading books/poetry
- Watching a movie/TV Show
- Doing puzzles
- Singing songs
- Manicures/Pedicures
Commonwealth Hospice services patients in many areas throughout the South Hills Pittsburgh area such as:
Bethel Park, Upper St. Clair, White Oak, West Mifflin, Munhall, Baldwin, Brentwood, McMurray, Jefferson Hills, Caste Village, Whitehall, Castle Shannon, McMurray, Bridgeville, Greentrr & many more places!
