DICK's Day of Service | Thursday, August 6 | Brashear Association

NOTE: This project is exclusively open to associates of DICK'S Sporting Goods.

Brashear Association, a 2025 Sports Matter grantee, is located in Mt. Oliver. Volunteers will help prepare Brashear Association for their Back to School event happening Aug. 14th! Tasks may include organizing supplies, sorting, packing book bags, cleaning outdoors, setting up tents, and decorating.

Waiver: All volunteers must complete the volunteer waiver upon registering -click here to access (opens in a new window).

What to Wear: DSG shirts will be provided, but please arrive wearing comfortable, casual clothing that can get dirty and/or painted. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes that they can easily move around in (sneakers or light boots). Project will be mostly indoors and outdoors - sun protection is strongly suggested.

What to Bring: Refreshments and lunch will be provided, but a reusable water bottle may be handy. We also recommend bringing a light backpack or drawstring bag so you may work "hands-free" if you do not want to leave belongings in your car or on the property.

About Brashear Association: Based on the core belief that everyone deserves a fair shot, The Brashear Association provides South Pittsburgh residents and community groups with access to quality programs and services that address social, education, health, and economic issues.
