Pickleball + civic action + community across difference. Join us Friday, July 10 from 6–8pm at Volo's pickleball courts in Assembly Square, Somerville for an interfaith Serve 250 event -- playing together and supporting two organizations doing transformative work. PICL brings pickleball directly into prisons and jails, giving incarcerated people access to sport, movement, and real connection. Partakers reduces recidivism through college mentoring, reentry support, and community -- and their graduates show a 2% recidivism rate compared to a national average of 79%. That's the power of showing up for people. Come play, learn, and stand with neighbors you haven't met yet. All backgrounds, all faiths, all welcome.
