Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank volunteer program — Family Volunteer Day. From ages six years and up we have fun and rewarding activities for the whole family! []: Required Four times per year, we host family volunteer days. These two-hour Saturday volunteer sessions are open to children as young as six years old.

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank volunteer program — Farm Programs (Orchard, Gleaning, Farmers Market Connection). The Food Bank Orchard, a partnership with Chatham University, hosts volunteers periodically during farm season and is located in Gibsonia, Pa.

The Market, in partnership with Giant Eagle, offers a grocery store-style experience providing shelf-stable, meat, dairy, fresh produce and non-food grocery items as well as connections to additional resources for help!
