Volunteer at OpenStreetsPGH in July!

Volunteer as an Intersection Hero for OpenStreetsPGH on Sunday, July 26th in the Strip District + Lawrenceville.

OpenStreetsPGH is a free community event that opens miles of city streets for people to walk, run, bike, and explore spaces that would otherwise be used by motor vehicles.

As an Intersection Hero, you will assist a public safety official with guiding OpenStreetsPGH participants through a traffic crossing. Groups are provided with stop signs, pool noodles, and a bluetooth speaker.

Our text chat line is run daily 9am - 9pm. We provide hotline volunteers with ample training to prepare them to support and assist survivors seeking information, safety, and empowerment.
