Individual House Volunteering — Family House Volunteer

Each shift, House Volunteers have unique opportunities to interact with guests while performing routine tasks that help Family House operate. Requirements include:

House Volunteers commit to at least two shifts per month. Most volunteers work consistent schedules (i.e. every week/twice a month).“Floater” volunteer shifts are also available if you cannot make a regular weekly commitment. Floaters manage their own schedule using Family House’s volunteer management system, Bloomerang Volunteer.House Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.The house volunteer handbook has been updated as of October 1, 2025. Remote Phone Calls to Hospice Patients

We are looking for someone to make weekly phone calls to our home hospice patients. You will make "tuck-in calls" to make sure that the patients and families have everything they need for the weekend. Phone calls are typically made Wednesdays or Thursdays.
