Volunteer with Three Rivers Adaptive Sports

Three Rivers Adaptive Sports (TRAS) is volunteer-driven and runs year-round adaptive sports for people with disabilities across Pittsburgh: Bowling (since 2008), Snow Skiing, Cycling, Paddling / Kayaking (including the Allegheny River Rumble), and Water Sports. Volunteers assist participants on the field of play and are recruited at monthly chapter meetings (third Thursday, 7 PM; 412-848-8896).

Volunteer at a PedalPGH Rest Stop on Sunday, August 30th in Schenley Park. PedalPGH is PA’s largest single day bike ride, attracting 3,000 people from Pittsburgh and beyond of all ages, riding experience, and backgrounds to celebrate the joy of cycling throughout the city. Help keep riders fueled and motivated at one of our PedalPGH rest stops!

Hotline Advocate

Crisis Center North provides free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence. Our hotline is run by trained staff and volunteers 24/7, even on holidays. Our text chat line is run daily 9am - 9pm. We provide hotline volunteers with ample training to prepare them to support and assist survivors seeking information, safety, and empowerment.
