Wildbird Recovery runs a wild-bird rehabilitation center at Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy in Butler County (Western PA, within 25 miles of Pittsburgh). Volunteer roles include Animal Care, Educational Programming, Facility Maintenance, Native Plant / Native Gardening Work, Conservation Research (Chimney Swift data collection), Creative Services (mural / design), and Administrative support. Three internship tracks are also offered: Rehabilitation, Education, and Conservation. Animal-care volunteers must be 18+ with a 4-hour weekly minimum.
