26-27 Three Rivers Rowing Development VISTA

26-27 Three Rivers Rowing Development VISTA

Three Rivers Rowing Association (TRRA) is a community-based rowing and paddling organization that develops and delivers safe, sustainable, and inclusive programs and events that teach and promote the benefits of rowing and paddling. TRRA owns and operates two campuses on the Allegheny River just north of downtown Pittsburgh. TRRA is one of the largest community rowing organizations in the US. TRRA is beginning a new strategic plan and over the next 12 months we will be executing phase 1 of this new plan. A key part of this process is enhancing our current systems of revenue generation and community impact so that we can remain financially sustainable. It is also imperative that we maintain a strong presence in the development and fundraising communities during this early phase. Our VISTA will work closely with our Executive Director and Development team to elevate our development and fundraising systems to increase future reach and impact. This work will include identifying funding opportunities and grant writing. There will be opportunities for networking, creative portfolio building and various other leadership skills development. We are looking for a dynamic person who can communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences, can work independently and as part of a team, and has excellent writing, creativity, and time management skills.

Member Duties : The VISTA will be part of the 26-27 Coach Across America national VISTA cohort of 64 members. The TRRA VISTA will have four main tasks: 1. The TRRA Development VISTA will organize and optimize our donor database by streamlining and filtering the current database and updating the database with relevant information. 2.
