NAMI is proud of its grassroots beginning. And at NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania, we couldn’t accomplish our mission of improving the lives of people affected by mental illness without the countless volunteers who dedicate their time, resources, knowledge, and experience to our cause.

NAMI Program Leader Volunteer

NOTE: If you are from outside of the Allegheny County area but are interested in Program Leadership training, pleasecontact your nearest NAMI Affiliate.

In addition to serving as the state organization, NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania also serves the Allegheny County area. If you are a resident of Allegheny County or the surrounding area, there are a number of ways you can volunteer with us! You can become a program leader and teach a class, become a facilitator and lead a support group, or become a presenter and share your story. NAMIWalks Volunteer

You can also lend a hand at our biggest fundraising and awareness event of the year, NAMIwalks Keystone PA! Every year, hundreds of supporters walk to end stigma and spread the word that treatment works and recovery is possible. NAMIWalks donations fund the programming we offer throughout the year at no cost to participants. If you are interested in volunteering for NAMIWalks Keystone PA, please submit an application.
