Homewood Children's Village AmeriCorps Homewood Children’s Village (HCV) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Homewood’s children while simultaneously reweaving the fabric of the community in which they live.

Volunteers assist instructors by helping design and prepare crafts, interacting with children ages 2 – 12, and cleaning up after all daily activities for summer camps held June – August. Camp themes change each year, but all focus on connecting children to nature, science and healthy living.
