Three Rivers Arts Festival opens this week in its beautiful new home
TBD
For its 67 th rendition, the Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival opens this week with a completely new footprint. Over the years, the annual festival — a production of Pittsburgh Cultural Trust — has bounced from place to place, from Gateway Center to Point State Park to Downtown streets and even the Strip District. But with the opening of Arts Landing , the annual party dedicated to the visual and performing arts has found its forever home.
The 4-acre civic space, located between Penn Avenue and Fort Duquesne Boulevard in the Cultural District, offers the festival a more visitor-friendly, concentrated space for the concerts, activities and vendors that festivalgoers have come to expect. The festival runs from June 5-7 and June 11-14.
