Carter Fox: Moongroove 2026

Carter Fox, also known as the Soulful Traveling Spaceman Bassman, is a musician, songwriter, producer, author, entrepreneur, and artist who has been creating and performing since age 15. Recognized as a virtuoso bassist with a storyteller's soul, Carter crafts expansive soundscapes that merge jazz, chill-fi, and experimental electronic music. He's toured internationally with R&B legend Freddie Jackson and Grammy-winner Regina Belle, collaborated with Skrillex, Leon Huff, Pablo Batista (Alicia Keys, H.E.R.), and Adventure Club and performed on the score for the feature film Running on Empty starring Lucy Hale and Jim Gaffigan. As a solo artist, Carter has released music with Biblioteka Records, The Acrylic Label, Chill Moon Music, Insert Tapes, and his own Intrepid Fox Music — garnering millions of streams and features from LoFi Girl, College Music, Stereofox, and Chill Select. His album Physics of the Impossible was described as 'Thundercat jamming with Brian Eno on a spaceship piloted by Sun Ra' and reached #58 on the Apple Music Japan HipHip Charts as a crossover of chillhop, experimental, and cinematic electronic music. He's currently preparing to release his new EP Mobius Strip in the summer of 2026.
