6'6 240's & Soundvizion Reunion with The Heavy Hitters and Power Forward
Celebrating 26 years of releasing Appalachian Hip Hop, 6’6 240, Monstalung, and the Soundvizion family reunite for the first time in 10 years on June 19, 2026, at 123 Pleasant St in Morgantown, WV. Releasing West Virginia Anthems Vol. 1, a compilation of songs from Soundvizion artists and catalog, all dedicated to West Virginia, documenting the movement and history of the label's contribution to Appalachian Hip Hop. 22 music tracks are on the compilation, all about West Virginia, popular songs such as WV Clap, WV Gurls, Welcome to West Virginia, and the WVU Football Anthem, The Gold and Blue (all versions). Returning for the Soundvizion reunion show will be 6’6 240, 304 Reconz, Monstalung, Ace Beanz, Johnny Harmonic, A Breezy, B Hyphen, DJ Strizy, and Nerd Fresh. Hailing from the soul-soaked Valleys of West Virginia, The Heavy Hitters are a musical force to be reckoned with. With their irresistible grooves, infectious energy, and unparalleled musicianship, they have rightfully earned the title of "the phunkiest band in the land." Formed by the love of all things music, The Heavy Hitters are the brainchild of four musical maestros who shared an insatiable passion for funk, soul, and all things groove-oriented. Together, they embarked on a mission to bring the homegrown sounds of Appalachia to the rest of the world. A tasteful but powerful blend of Funk, Blues & Hip Hop from Morgantown, WV comes the live band Power Forward. Led by local legend guitarist Andy Tuck of The Greens, 18 Strings, and The Andy Tuck Band mixes it up with rapper/vocalist Monstalung, Vashon Page on drums, Danny D on percussion, Tudore on bass, and Alex Herbst on Keyboards.
