Joe Matzzie: Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership Summer Lunchtime Concert Series

Joe Matzzie will be performing his captivating blend of Folk / Americana songs for the Summer Concert Series in Mellon Square, Downtown Pittsburgh Songwriter, Vocalist and Multi-instrumentalist Joe Matzzie blends an intimate raspy voice and rhythmically churning guitar rhythms with captivating old fashioned energy. He was named Best Male Artist in the 2021 International Acoustic Music Awards for the song Home. Although his genre as a recording artist falls within Americana Folk, his authentic charm has been likened more than once to that of Jazz legend Cab Calloway. Joe recently moved back to his home town of Pittsburgh after 14 years in Los Angeles and 8 years in New York City. He has released 5 albums including his latest Baby Steps.
