Don’t miss these Pittsburgh community yard sales

TBD
Summer in Pittsburgh means poolside fun , big outdoor festivals , Pierogi Races at PNC Park — and yard sales. Given the city’s penchant for second-hand shopping , the opportunity to find cheap treasures is hard to pass up. And the tradition allows sellers to make a few bucks while giving a new life to unwanted clothing, furniture, media, and other items that might otherwise end up in the landfill. Those looking to make the most of their summertime deal searches should check out the numerous neighborhood yard sales throughout Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas. These expansive, community-organized events are veritable shopping smorgasbords, encouraging locals to explore various neighborhoods, spend quality time outdoors, and, sometimes, enjoy seasonal fun at complementary block parties and street fairs. Pittsburgh City Paper compiled a list of neighborhood yard sales taking place all summer long.
