South Side Street Fest

Ends:
TBD
Pittsburgh’s ultimate late-night weekend FREE-to-enter block party is taking over the South Side! This open-air, pedestrian-only festival is closed off completely to vehicle traffic on East Carson Street, so you can play games, grab a drink, listen to music, visit vendor tents, and enjoy food! THIS WEEKEND: August 28 & 29: Syllabus Week (Back to School)! College students are back so we are featuring giant beer pong & flip cup games, “pop quiz” trivia, and paper-airplane toss. Street movie (starts at 10:30 pm) is Dazed and Confused’ (1993). September 4 & 5: End of Summer! End-of-summer blowout with a White Party vibe. Weekend highlights include oversized lawn games, “Best of Summer” memory wall, and a watermelon-eating contest! September 11 & 12: Black and Gold! Our closing weekend celebrates football! Weekend highlights include football target toss, black & gold cornhole, and a Terrible Towel wave photo! Details: * Safety & Security: Dedicated ID checkpoints and full security perimeters mean you can focus entirely on having a great time. Visitors must pass through scanners; no weapons allowed.
