Pittsburgh Garlic Festival in support of SHIM

Join Pittsburgh's Garden Guru Doug Oster for a celebration of garlic to help the South Hills Interfaith Movement. Donate your extra garden produce and other items to receive a free hose sprayer courtesy of Dramm.Free samples of Honey Roasted Garlic Ice Cream with Balsamic Glaze and the Ultimate Garlic Alfredo Pasta along with Spotted Lanterfly Honey. Four different types of local hardy garlic seed will be for sale too. At 1pm Oster will present “Planting Garlic for Seven Different Harvests,” and explain how to avoid the allium leaf miner, a destructive garlic pest. Join us for live music, giveaways and much more to support a great cause.
