Celebrate the Summer Solstice at Calvary United Methodist Church

Celebrate the summer solstice on June 22 at Calvary United Methodist Church. View the Tiffany windows in all their glory in the brightest light of the year! This year another window will be highlighted: the Durbin Horne, Jr. Memorial Window created by L. Haberstrohl and Son of Boston. It is original to the time of the dedication of the church in 1895 and depicts St. Joseph with the youthful Jesus. It is a rendering of Bartolome Esteban Murillo’s painting entitled, St. Joseph and the Child from 1666. Docents are available and refreshments will be served.
