Reader's Theater

Instructor: Jessica Hecht, Sewickley Academy Middle School English Teacher Lights, laughter, and a little bit of secret learning! This camp is all about performance, fun, and creativity - but with a clever twist: campers will also practice reading speed and fluency (don't worry - they won't even realize they're learning!). Through playful activities and on-stage reading, students build confidence, improve reading aloud, and develop strong reading skills in a supportive, encouraging environment. Perfect for developing readers who want to have fun, shine on stage, and boost their reading abilities at the same time! We encourage all campers to pack a nutritious snack and a refillable water bottle each day of camp.
