Divine Tragedy: Sixth Annual Mid-Summer MetalFest and Lights Out Tour

Get ready for a night of metal mayhem! Eleven metal bands are hitting the stage, with the first band kicking things off at 3:30 p.m. Bring your own beer and ID to get in. Plus, you’ll get entry to the haunted house, which opens at 7 p.m. for just $18. There will be food trucks, flash tattoos, and all the haunted house fun and characters to keep you entertained. Their music is the culmination of four talented individuals which is both beautiful and terrible all in one. With Metal Fester's speed and skill on drums it sounds like a locomotive rumbling over your skull. The Manticore pounds his bass riffs like a Jack hammer into your chest. Cali will shred your face off, when not engaged with Krist in the signature Divine Tragedy dual lead guitar attack. The icing on the cake is Krist McKee's passionate, melodic vocals. His extreme range is reminiscent of Rob Halford to Jim Morrison to Kurt Cobain. Divine Tragedy will reminds us of what metal used to be, as well as taking the listener somewhere new.
