Join the livestream _________ Jana Sestili is a proud University of Pittsburgh alumna who has spent more than three decades proving that higher education isn't just a career, it's a calling. Her journey has taken her from Pitt Athletics to the North Carolina State University Alumni Association and back home to the University of Pittsburgh, where she has built a career centered on creating meaningful experiences and lasting relationships. Today, as Director of Conference Services and Events within Hospitality at Pitt, Jana leads a team that welcomes everyone from prospective students and international conference attendees to alumni, wedding couples, and campus partners. She believes hospitality is one of the most powerful ways to tell a university's story and that every guest should leave feeling like they experienced the very best of Pitt and Pittsburgh. Known for her infectious enthusiasm, collaborative leadership, and people-first approach, Jana is passionate about creating spaces where connections happen naturally. Whether she's planning a global conference, celebrating a wedding, or championing a new campus initiative, her philosophy is simple: hospitality is about making people feel like they belong.
