Jovan Landry is a Chicago-based multidisciplinary artist known for her articulate lyrics focused on self-empowerment and overcoming obstacles. She is a filmmaker, photographer, and emcee, captivating audiences with her magnetic stage presence. In 2017, Jovan received the WeWork Creator Awards grant to create the groundbreaking hip-hop album, Synergy, produced, performed, and engineered exclusively by women and femmes. The album is archived at the Universal Hip-Hop Museum, and Jovan has been invited to perform and speak at prestigious events such as ABC-7's Windy City Live and the Women in Hip-Hop Conference. She continues contributing her vocals for collaborations, performing live, making DJ mashups, and producing music for recording and dance artists.
