Named after KC and the Sunshine Band and inspired by artists including Led Zeppelin, Stevie Nicks, and Sheryl Crow, Johns formed a band by the age of 17. In 2017, she packed up her guitar and headed for Nashville, singing on Broadway stages before landing an opportunity to perform with Carnival Cruise Lines. What was meant to be a six-month contract turned into several years of international touring, honing her stage presence, and connecting with global audiences. KC Johns has built an impressive performance résumé since then.
