Rain Day 5K

We're back!!!   The Rain Day 5K has been a Waynesburg tradition for over 45 years!! There was a short hiatus from 2022 through 2025 with a change in organization. The race is once again part of the Waynesburg Rain Day Festival that is held in Waynesburg, PA every July 25th.  The 2026 edition of the the 5K Race is hosted by local youth running programs. Proceeds from the 5K will be used to support the Cross Country teams in Greene County.  🗺️ WHERE:  Race day check-in and the course Start & Finish are all located near McCracken Pharmacy (at the corner of E. High St and N. Porter St.)   🕰️ WHEN:    8:30 - Check In and Race-Day registration. 9:00 - 1 Mile Kids Race (12 & Under) 9:30 - 5K Run & 5K Walk   🗺️ COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Both the 1 Mile Kids Race and the 5K are an easy to follow Out & Back course on N. Porter St. 🏅 AWARDS:   5K Run & 5K Walk  -  Overall - Top 3, M&F Age Groups - Top 3, M&F   (1-18,19-29, 30-39,40-49,50-59, 60+)   1 Mile Kids Race - TBD
