One of the largest, longest running, and most celebrated 5Ks in Western Pennsylvania, the Brentwood Firecracker 5K is one of Pittsburgh’s favorite Fourth of July traditions, since 1983! Each year, a couple thousand runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages and abilities take on this iconic 3.1 mile course along Brownsville Road, cheered on every step of the way. The race starts at 9:00 AM, in front of Brentwood Towne Square. Immediately after the race, the beloved Brentwood 4 th of July Parade starts, keeping the festivities going! Participants Enjoy: * Awards for top overall finishers, masters (40+) and all age groups * A commemorative race day t-shirt. * Entrance into raffles. Top prize of $500 cash. * Supporting vital local organizations, such as the Brentwood Fire Department, Baldwin EMS, Brentwood Library, Brentwood 4 th of July Parade Committee, and the Brentwood Food Pantry. * Post Race Celebration - Stop down in Brentwood Towne Square for refreshments, awards ceremony, and raffle prizes. Hope to see you there!
