Senior Business Analyst
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (Partial Remote)
Role Overview
This organization is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead the end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytics solutions. The successful candidate will partner with business stakeholders, Enterprise Applications, Data Engineering, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, and BI development teams to translate business needs into actionable insights, dashboards, KPIs, and scalable reporting solutions. This position reports directly to the manager of the data insights team and plays a key role in driving data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Education: A Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience: Candidates must possess at least five years of experience in Business Intelligence, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Reporting, or a related field. Additionally, three or more years of experience with requirements formulation, executive dashboards, KPI development, user acceptance testing, and process improvement is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI and working knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio are required. Candidates must also demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Lead requirement gathering sessions and document comprehensive business requirement documents, user stories, process flows, business rules, KPIs, and reporting requirements.
- Own reporting and analytics initiatives from initial intake and solution design through testing, deployment, and organizational adoption.
- Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, scorecards, reports, visualizations, and executive presentations.
- Analyze business, customer, market, and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Define and validate data quality, data integrity, source-system dependencies, and end-to-end data flows.
- Develop user acceptance testing plans and scenarios, coordinate testing, track defects, and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
- Partner with technical teams to validate business logic, calculations, data completeness, and reporting accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, consolidate, and improve reporting and business processes.
- Promote adoption of analytics capabilities and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

- Experience with enterprise reporting across multiple ERP or source systems.
- Supply chain, distribution, logistics, sales operations, or finance experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment undergoing digital transformation.
- Ability to travel occasionally for business meetings.
