We are hiring Embedded Software Development Engineers for a 12-month contract opportunity in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.
Position Details:
· Job Title: Embedded Software Development Engineer
· Location: Murrysville, PA
· Duration: 12 Months
· Pay Rate: Up to $65/hour on W2
· Openings: 2
· Work Arrangement: 100% onsite from Day 1
· Relocation: Candidates must relocate to Murrysville, PA at their own expense.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and develop embedded firmware using C/C++.
· Integrate software components and third-party libraries into existing systems.
· Perform firmware debugging, optimization, and hardware/software integration testing.
· Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
· Develop and maintain software quality documentation in accordance with medical device industry standards.
· Use GitHub for software configuration management and follow established development practices.
Required Skills:
· Strong experience in embedded software/firmware development using C/C++.
· Experience working in the medical device industry or another highly regulated industry.
· Understanding of hardware domains, including circuit analysis, microelectronics, and computer architecture.
· Experience with firmware debugging, hardware integration, and troubleshooting.
· Experience with GitHub and quality documentation aligned with medical device standards.
Preferred Skills:
· ARM processors, RTOS, secure boot, and software driver development.
· Software test automation, Agile, DevOps, and continuous integration.
· Code reviews, API design/integration, and AI-assisted software development.
